Our Story

Double H Ranch wasn't some lifelong dream that we'd been planning for years. In many ways, it found us.

For years, I worked in the wedding and hospitality industry, managing ranches and venues throughout Central Oregon. One of my favorite parts of the job was bringing our horses and animals into weddings, photoshoots, and special events. Watching people light up when they met a gentle giant like Buttercup or got to experience ranch life, even for a few hours, was something I never got tired of.

When life unexpectedly took us in a new direction and we found ourselves on our own little piece of Central Oregon, we looked around at the animals we love so much and thought... why not share this with others? Today, Double H Ranch exists to create authentic ranch experiences that bring people together. Whether you're riding horseback through the pines to your own proposal spot, walking down the aisle beside one of our horses, celebrating with our Highland cattle and goats, or simply slowing down long enough to enjoy life outdoors, our hope is that you leave with memories you'll never forget.

While we are not set up for ranch visits yet, we love bringing the ranch to you and your celebrations!
